While replicas of entire Austrian villages are built in China, “welcome” goes the other way round and brings China to Austria.
At the abandoned train station of “Lunz am See” a huge, seemingly propagandistic text installation with Hanzi characters was erected, which merely announced the name of the small municipality to the few visitors.
